Evangelist Dawn J. Shaw was born in Pittsburgh, PA and is one of 6 children.  She was raised in Boston, Massachusetts.  Having believed in Jesus Christ from a child, she received salvation and was filled with the Holy Ghost and baptized in the name of Jesus Christ on February 21, 1990. She is the wife of Elder Marvin K. Shaw, Pastor of Lively Stone Community Church, Woonsocket, Rhode Island.  The mother of one daughter, Sister Christina Shaw who also received salvation as a young child.

She began her education in the Boston School System.  She was graduated of the former Boston Technical High School before attending Burdett College in 1992.  She moved to East Hartford, Connecticut and later attended Aenon Bible College where she obtained her ministerial license through the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. (PAW).  Evangelist was later encouraged  by God and her family to complete her higher education.  In doing so, she continued to obtain a degree in Social Services, then on to complete her Bachelors degree in Human Sciences.  She is now working toward her Masters of Business Administration in Non-profit Leadership Management.  Her final degree, if God permits, is to obtain her doctorate in theology.

She's a very dynamic woman of God.  You name it she's done it!  Evangelist is an author, poet, and conference specialist by rights.  She is the Director of the Christian Education, Young People, and Missionary Departments at Lively Stone.

Books on CD:  The Promiscuous Life, Under the Blood, Five Minutes ‘til Midnight, and No More Pain?  Works in progress:  With These Hands.

Evangelist Shaw's responsibilities may seem overwhelming to many, but she is encouraged by the word of good which says "I can do all things through Christ, which strengtheneth me."  (Philippians 4:13)

Let's continue to lift her and her family up as they continue to labor in kingdom building--in Jesus' Mighty Name!
